If you're new
to ebooks or haven't tried our ebooks yet, there are several

Because it's less expensive to publish an ebook than to
publish a trade paperback, we can pass those savings on to
you, usually at anywhere from 25% to 75% less than the
cover price of the trade paperback. And don't forget
the cost of shipping, especially if you life outside the
U.S.!

Let's face it. Some of our core audience have to keep
their reading material secret or, at the very least,
discreet. It's much easier to hide an ebook on your
hard drive or jump drive than a book that arrives in the
mail.
Instant Delivery.
No waiting for days or weeks or, if you live outside the
U.S., even months for your favorite book to arrive.
You can order in your pajamas at 3 A.M. and be reading
in minutes. Our delivery process is automated so that all
you do is pay with your credit card and the file downloads
instantly onto your hard drive (or wherever you've
designated your downloads to go!)
Space/Mobility.
You can store thousands of ebooks on your home computer or
laptop, or carry them with you on your PDA/handheld computer
to read while you wait for the kids' soccer practice to wrap
up, the doctor's receptionist to call your name, or the bank
teller to return from lunch.
Eyesight. With
an ebook, you can increase the size of the text or screen
for easier viewing.
How to read an ebook.
Currently, our ebooks are available only in Adobe PDF, which
most of our customers prefer. If you'd like to see our
books in a different format, please let us know, and if the
demand is great enough, we'll add another format. PDF
files can be read from the screen of your computer, by
printing out the file, or on your PDA/handheld.
You'll need to download Adobe's free reader, if you haven't
already.

downloading or opening the file--or even with finding it
after you've downloaded it at 3 A.M.!--email us and as soon
as we're back in the office and able to check out the
problem, we'll contact you. If necessary, we'll send
the file to you as an email attachment. |
