Shipping
information for printed books
We normally ship via USPS (media rate) or UPS. Books
are usually shipped from our warehouse within 48 hours of
payment clearing (please allow extra time for e-checks).
Effective 1 October 2007, we will begin to transition from
inventory in our Florida offices to an inland warehouse, due
to the active hurricane seasons, so that we can fill orders
regardless of where our staff might be physically located.
If you feel your shipment is taking unreasonably long to
reach you, please contact us via email so that we can trace
the package.
We strive to keep a finger on the pulse of shipping times so
that we can give you an accurate delivery time.
Types of Shipping:
We currently offer two types of shipping:
Domestic Standard:
Delivery to all 50 states, Puerto Rico, and the
U.S. Virgin Islands in approximately 7 to 10 days
of shipment date (usually 48 hours after your payment
clears). These normally arrive within 2 weeks and almost
always within 3 weeks. Limited or no trackability.
Not recommended for carton shipments. Will ship
to PO boxes.
Domestic Expedited:
Delivery to most residential addresses in the 48 contiguous
states in the U.S. within 1 to 6 days of
shipment date (usually 48 hours after your payment clears),
based on the location of the Ship To address. These normally
arrive within a few days, and almost always within 10 days.
Shipments are traceable. PO Boxes and military
addresses cannot be used as a Ship To
address.
Basis of Shipping Charges:
Shipping charges are based on weight of the books rather
than the price or quantity of books, so our customers aren't
penalized for lightweight purchases and are encouraged to
buy as many books as possible within each shipping range.
You can usually buy 3-7 books for shipping rate of
$5 or $8, depending on how quickly you need the
books.

International Shipping:
Effective 1 October 2007, we no longer ship internationally.
While we very much appreciate our non-U.S. customers, we can
no longer afford to provide this service. In
2006-2007, over 40% of our international shipments had to be
replaced, which we committed to at our own expense to
satisfy our customers. Another 40% of our shipments
were held up in customs or otherwise delayed, and while it
should be obvious that we're not responsible for the postal
systems in other countries or our own, we have been held
accountable for these delays.
Because of the replacement expense and excessive time spent
on international offers, we have chosen to concentrate on
domestic orders for our printed books while still offering
our ebooks to our international customers as a cheap and
quick method of acquiring our books. We also recommend our
international customers purchase our printed books through
online bookstores such as Amazon.com that offer our books in
international venues.
